Happy Independence Day!!!

This is a small tribute to all my friends in the United States.  Happy Independence Day to all of you down there.  I hope you will enjoy your day as I have enjoyed our day here in Canada.  All the festivities, the music and the food made the day.  I'd like to know what you all do on your fabulous day.  I hear about it on TV and Wikipedia but I would like a first hand account from you (my readers).  What do you like to do on your nation's special day?

A Quote on Happiness

Good Day all!  It's a beautiful day today and I wanted to share a beautiful quote.  I heard it from one of the wisest and most wonderful women in my life.

"Happiness isn't about getting what you want all the time.  It's about loving what you have and being grateful for it."

This is a quote that we as mystics love to follow when it comes to our long lives.  One does have to be grateful for what they have even if it seems so little.  When you love the little things, they can grow into something big and wonderful.  You can take what you want from that quote but make sure you remember it when you need it.
